Splendid Spoon delivers ready-made meals and smoothies direct to consumers across the nation. They’ve taken classic, craveable meals and have given them a plant-based spin.

The brand approached us to redesign the meal packaging that had gotten away from their original vision. We took a step back to better align the visuals to their strategy, and delivered whimsical packaging that looks delicious, and celebrates the plant-based meal’s clean and vibrant ingredients.

The packaging design leans heavily into the brand’s value of always remaining transparent about what goes into each meal and smoothie they craft. We designed fun ingredient illustrations that dance around on the clear ready-to-heat soup and grain bowls, which allows customers to see the vibrant food inside.

The packaging is playful, but the architecture delivers a clear hierarchy of communication so anyone can grab the meal they are looking for quickly.

Crafting a delicious healthy meal is a form of art, and Splendid Spoon wants their food to power your feel-good moments.

The boxes we designed for the noodles and dish line extension further display our custom branded ingredient illustrations and the box layouts in turn are full of movement, feel artistic, and peak excitement as a customer opens to experience their first bite.
