SMARTLIFECO
SmartlifeCo aims to take oral care out of the dark ages and are disrupting the eco-friendly dental space with its zero-waste, biodegradable oral care products.
While the brand was already committed to sustainable dental hygiene, their previous packaging design and branding felt expected for a sustainable brand. When they were ready to expand, we were challenged to reimagine and reinvent the brand as a modern, bold, and colorful disruptor in the dental category.

At the heart of this brand redesign was the company’s mission: to make eco-friendly products more accessible and appealing without sacrificing style or quality for the whole family.
We embraced that vision by transforming their brand identity to stand out on shelves while maintaining its commitment to sustainability. The new branding and packaging design is lively, playful, and fresh—moving away from a typical design aesthetic often seen in the eco-friendly cpg space.
By introducing a vibrant color palette, strong geometry, and a playful brand voice, we allowed Smartlifeco’s products such as their biodegradable floss picks and bamboo toothbrushes to differentiate themselves from competition and stand out on Amazon's busy marketplace while remaining strong on shelf in retail stores, and on their branded website design.

In addition to the new packaging design, we leveled up SmartlifeCo's visual branding with beautiful art direction and execution of product and lifestyle photography which continue to reiterate the brand's strategic positioning.
The new brand voice alongside custom branded iconography was also built to ensure that each cpg both on and offiline communicates the brand’s core values of sustainability and performance.

Brand voice key messaging
We approached this redesign with the whole family in mind. For a busy traveler, you can grab a eco-friendly toothbrush travel kit and silk floss strong for on-the-go.
SmartlifeCo also has a rapidly growing kids oral care line. The kids flossers and toothbrush designs are a playful extension of the brand's fun and innovative approach to dental hygiene. They introduce a giraffe mascot to keep things fun and encourage little ones to begin their oral care journey off on the right foot.
Creative Oral Care, Online
Our partnership with SmartlifeCo also extended to designing, building, and launching their custom Shopify e-commerce website, specifically tailored to the brand's rapidly growing online sales.
In addition, we provided art direction for the brand’s photography and advertising services, which included creative direction for a commercial spot and a PR campaign. The content was later used for the brand's Amazon A+ content, storefront, and digital ads.
