When the brand came to us for their launch, they needed a brand identity, packaging design, and voice that would capture the magic of their product, while appealing to both home cooks and high-end chefs alike.

With a story rooted in exceptional quality and the marvels that Africa offers, Nanga is not just redefining peppercorns— it’s elevating the spice experience.
For the brand's spice packaging design, we created a sleek, tactile paper tube that communicates quality, sophistication, and the artisanal nature of the product. The design features a minimal black-and-white color palette paired with a beautiful typographic wordmark and a unique hand drawn volcano icon showcasing a little African personality. We incorporated modern and impactful photography on pack— ground peppercorns forming a pile that echoes the shape of a volcano, paying homage to the land where penja peppers are grown.
Unforgettable Branding
Alongside the package design, we developed art direction for photography and a sharp, yet approachable brand voice for Nanga. Both highlight the peppercorns' rare origin and superior flavor, making it clear Nanga is not your average spice brand. With Nanga bringing the finest flavors the world has to offer, the brand voice underscores their mission to share its remarkable, curated products with the world.
