Clear Creek delivers quality organic chicken feed, for raising quality chickens. The brand’s mission is simple, to always look out for the well-being of their flock with clean, traceable, organic and non-gmo ingredients in their products.
Design Womb partnered with the startup to design a chicken-centric fresh brand identity with modern packaging design that is rooted in simplicity and transparency while keeping things clean, bold, and easy to understand for chicken experts and enthusiasts.
Our strategy – chickens can be used for eggs, utility, or as pets, and we embraced the transparency of the products’ ingredients and simple mission to deliver a design that boldly stands out on a retail shelf full of a lot of repetitive designs in the category. Clear Creek is about great quality at a reasonable price, so we ensured the products felt approachable, yet sophisticated.
We designed packaging that gives you an extremely fast visual as you shop through the use of simple photography of chicks and chickens on solid backgrounds. We developed a system of clean linear iconography for the product callouts featured on the front of the bag, and a logo with playful movement. The colors are saturated and are inspired by lush landscapes.
Better feed, better chickens
From starter to grower, it's hard to make sense of all the different varieties of culinary chicken feed concepts out there, and it can get very confusing for a first time or semi-experienced chicken keeper.
Clear Creek aims to make this information simpler through it's accessible and less overwhelming messaging and minimal chicken & pet food packaging design.
