CHOLITA LINDA
Cholita Linda is a Bay Area fast casual restaurant that wants every meal to feel like a vacation. The brand crafts food you dream about, with everything made from scratch, because handmade just tastes better.
We partnered with the California restaurant to rebrand their brick-and-mortar locations, launch a new website, develop memorable to go packaging, and brand Cholita’s line of house made sauces and agua frescas. The results are vivid, warm, and a little tropical – delivering vacation vibes to locals without leaving town.

We designed a full food packaging system for the restaurant’s to- go orders inspired by its Latin American roots, which give customers at home a chance to experience the same visual warmth and getaway vibes that are well known and loved in the brand’s physical locations.
The branded color system is fresh and vivid, and pairs with repeat patterns and tropic-driven branded illustrations of leaves and abstract ingredients for bags and taco wraps. SKU-specific illustrations allow the house made products to highlight the fresh ingredients and joy infused in the process.
Dine in, vibe out
At Cholita Linda, everyone gets treated like family, so it was important to develop a brand voice kit that sounds human, evokes joy, and uses craveable and colorful language when talking about the menu.
The fast casual restaurant is growing fast and in addition to their flagship locations and recent opening in San Francisco's popular Ferry Building, they are expanding to East Bay in Walnut Creek. You can also find their craveable tacos at several local farmer's markets around the Bay Area.
